West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini felt the 1-1 result at Crystal Palace on Saturday was a fair result.
“I think we played the first 45 minutes better than Crystal Palace,” Pellegrini said. “We scored one goal and we had another two or three very clear chances.”
“In the second half we made the mistake of dropping inside our own half and we allowed them to have the ball too much.
Pellegrini praised Roy Hodgson’s side with always being a threat in the later ‘45.
“They have very dangerous players – they created chances and were a little bit lucky with the goal, but they had other chances and we didn’t create another one in their box.
“I’m very happy with the first 45 minutes but not so happy with the second. It’s a good point.”
