West Ham United have completed a loan deal for little used striker Jordan Hugill. He will join Middlesbroughon a season long loan after joining the Hammers for £10 million last winter.
There’s not much to say about this other than I hope the lad bags a few goals and we can offload him permanently.

Hugill was the marquee purchase of David Moyes last winter. The striker was bought as cover for the oft injured Andy Carroll and for his dislike of Chicharito. At £10 million the purchase looks even worse than many of the botched striker purchases of the David Sullivan era.
After joining from Preston North End, Hugill made three appearances in Claret and Blue and did absolutely nothing with them. It’s sort of incredible that the guy even made three appearances for West Ham but that’s the level on dislike that David Moyes has for Javier Hernandez.
In a season full of silliness Hugill’s signing was perhaps the icing on the cake.
Hopefully this can become permanent and we can just forget that Jordan Hugill was ever signed by West Ham.
