Once again, it’s another important match for West Ham United in the month of March.
Back to back 4-1 debacles on the road and the fans upheaval at our avarice-filled owners always on the verge of boiling over make it a certainly nervous contest possibly afoot, against a solid Burnley side with Manager of the Season candidate Sean Dyche bringing in his organized outlet.
As mentioned before since yesterday, Winston Reid is lost again for another season early, while Sam Byram looks to be out for maybe the rest of the stretch as well. Thankfully both James Collins and Angelo Ogbonna return for their ailments, and Aaron Cresswell is in the lineup again as Arthur Masuaku’s suspension winds down.
Burnley have no new injuries but Scott Arfield (calf) and Tom Heaton (shoulder) are still not ready to return, while Steven Defour, Robbie Brady and Jonathan Walters (all knee) are long-term absentees.
Joe Hart gets the nod over Adrian for this week, so we’ll see if he keeps it for the rest of the season. It is another hold your hands, hold your heart Hammers massive test.
They better play for Bobby Moore’s spirit today. We’ll see what happens next.
