The Hammers really need to continue the good level from Saturday against another relegation struggler in Cardiff City, as they return home Tuesday in the Premier League.

It’s the first midweek league match of the season for West Ham, and really begins the busy stretch that they will be in for the next month.

Cardiff will always be scrappy and you can never take any match for granted in the Premier League. But they are still bad and West Ham needs to continue being the team they were on Saturday at Newcastle. We shall see.
