The second international break of the season is over, and West Ham United are back, as they face off against Tottenham in another anticipated London derby for us to either enjoy or agonize over.
Manuel Pellegrini thankfully saw his side almost unscathed completely from the October forays of his club to their countries, as Arthur Masuaku has comeback from an injury too difficult for him to start today. His leftback colleague Aaron Cresswell will be in for him to start. And then out of nowhere, Pedro Obiang is out of the side completely, as Robert Snodgrass comes in and leads to Felipe Anderson dropping into the midfield three with Mark Noble and Declan Rice.
They will of course be tested against Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs, who know that results will be instrumental for them to keep pace with the Premier League leaders. With Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli still out, along with Danny Rose, that means Harry Winks and Eric Dier, Ben Davies and Toby Alderweireld will try and give the Hammers problems throughout the contest.
Can West Ham secure another quality result against a big 6-7 club in their latest London Derby of drama? We shall see.
