The Morgan Schneiderlin deal appears to have collapsed after Everton informed West Ham United that the player is not for sale. Sky Sports reported the deal is off, despite the two clubs making contact earlier in the week over a reported £20 million move for the Frenchman.
Sam Allaradyce is not interested in selling the player to his former club, preferring to keep his midfield options open in the wake of James McCarthy’s recent broken leg. Schneiderlin has featured in eight of Everton’s last nine games in all competitions.

The transfer deadline is fast approaching and of course, West Ham have left their business to the last minute. The squad is missing 14 key players, with Diafra Sakho’s departure further depleting the side.
The Hammers are desperate to sign a midfielder and striker before the deadline passes. Based on past January transfer window activity and striker searches, I’m not confident we’ll get quality.
