It’s a prime opportunity for West Ham United to secure their first back to back wins of the 2017-18 season, as they take on Shrewsbury Town for the second time in nine days.
It’s a FA Cup Third Round replay which saw the Hammers even be lucky to have a second match with the League 1 side, as Shrewsbury had the only clear cut chances in the match. The low highlight, or real lowlight, for West Ham United that afternoon was Josh Cullen losing a tooth.
David Moyes surely hopes this contest will be different, as youth will reign supreme for the Hammers tonight. Toni Martinez gets his first start for the club tonight, and there is a return to the West Ham lineup for Reece Oxford, back from his frustrating but improving loan spell at Borussia Monchenglabach. Cullen, hopefully avoiding another tooth lost, plays against Shrewsbury again as well as Reece Burke.
