We’re on the road... Again.

With Huddersfield still ringing in our minds, West Ham United hit the road again for a trip to the Midlands where a game of football against West Brom awaits.

This is our Match Preview for the next Premier League Match against West Bromwich Albion.

Possible Formations:

Following the success of Slaven’s 3-4-3 against Huddersfield Town, it’s only natural he keep the same formation and keep most of the players for this one. With the 3-4-3, he has the added assurance of the two wing-backs dropping back when West Brom counter-attack and attempt to break past.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis would’ve watched the Huddersfield clash and taken some notes to break past our defense. However, he’s a man whom barely changes anything, so it’s natural his 4-2-3-1 formation remains the same. Who’ll he have up top? Only one man who will enjoy this one as much as the Gaffer himself - Solomon Rondon.

West Ham United Starting XI:

Despite scoring a goal against Huddersfield, Andre Ayew doesn’t make the Starting XI this week again as he’s dropped to the bench. Skipper Mark Noble doesn’t make an appearance for the Starting XI either, however, this is what we think it should look like;

  • GK: Joe Hart
  • CB: Pablo Zabaleta
  • CB: Winston Reid (C)
  • CB: Angelo Ogbonna
  • RWB: Michail Antonio
  • CM: Cheikhou Kouyate
  • CM: Pedro Obiang
  • LWB: Aaron Cresswell
  • RF: Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez
  • CF: Andy Carroll
  • LF: Marko Arnautovic

With Arnautovic, it does mean there’s a slight change in personnel, as Jose Fonte gets dropped to the bench as Antonio is shifted to Right Wing-Back with Chicharito shifting to the right-hand side of the formation.

Hart retains his starting position in goal, as does Carroll as he’s been brilliant since coming back in time for Huddersfield Town. Chicharito’s position to the right means the link up between him and Antonio will be absolutely brilliant, and Cresswell on the left will be just as brilliant as it was against David Wagner’s men.

Score Prediction:

Score prediction for this one is fairly easy.

West Ham have something to extend, whereas West Bromw ill want to stop us from doing so. With our attacking three of Carroll, Arnautovic and Chicharito, we’ll be able to break through their defense and pick up three points, easily.

2-0 West Ham United win
