According to a report in the Daily Express Manchester United striker Anthony Martial could be on the move this window. If in fact true West Ham United should move heaven and earth to bring the young France international to the London Stadium.

I could go to West Ham? I LOVE scoring at West Ham!

Martial was bought two years ago by then Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal for £36 million. The 21-year-old has scored 15 goals in 56 appearances for the Red Devils with a number of memorable goals against the Hammers.

I for one would take Martial over Kelechi Iheanacho or Michy Batshuayi even if we have to pay £45+ million for him. He’s a proven goal scorer in the Premier League, he’s still young, and most of all I don’t want any more heartbreaking goals from him against us.

I’m a bit surprised we haven’t been linked with him earlier or Marcus Rashford for that matter. We were linked with both for the past few windows. Martial was never going to leave at that time but with Jose Mourinho’s penchant for alienating good players Martial might be seeking a move. Although our friends over at The Busby Babe have rubbished the rumor already we can hope right? If I’m honest I find the original Gambling Times report a bit odd but oh well it’s called silly season for a reason.

Again we’re waiting on dominoes to fall hoping Man U get their striker targets before letting a talented player go. I’m not going to get my hopes up though and I feel he’ll command more money than the Davids are willing to shell out. For the love of all things good, let this rumor be true, please David Sullivan SHELL OUT THE MONEY! We want Martial!
