West Ham United launch 2017/18 Umbro Home Kit

West Ham’s 2017/18 home shirt finally gets it’s reveal!

West Ham United have finally revealed the 2017/18 Umbro home shirt this morning, being beautifully modelled by Andy Carroll, Manuel Lanzini and captain Mark Noble.

The shirt had been previously leaked two-weeks prior in Thailand due to a mishap and confusion over the new Everton home shirt, but finally the club have confirmed that it is indeed the new strip for the upcoming season.

A lot of credit however goes to regular West Ham insider ExWHUemployee, who described the kit to absolute perfection on his weekly radio show with SDCC.

Prices start at a reasonable £55 ($69) with a 10% discount for pre-ordering the kit early.

According to the official website, this years claret and blue kit takes inspiration from the famous strip worn by Billy Bonds and Trevor Brooking in the 1976 European Cup Winners’ Cup final.

I must add, they look a lot better actually on a player than hung up on a rack as seen in previous photos. However, as I’m sure most middle age men will agree, shirts when worn with an overhanging beer-belly never suit for some reason...
