West Ham's young, teenage sensation centre-back Reece Oxford has reportedly touched down in Germany ahead of a proposed season-long loan move to Bundelsiga side Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The 18-year-old, who spent five months on loan at the Madejski with Jaap Stam and Reading last season, has had a medical ahead of a proposed move to Germany.

During his time with The Royals, Oxford found it difficult to break into their starting eleven and never made the bench for The Championship Play-off Final last season.

He could find the time abroad useful in his bid to show Slaven Bilic he deserves a starting role in the coming years, after signing a new four-and-a-half-year deal at West Ham in December 2016.
