I mentioned a few weeks ago how West Ham would be wise to go after the services of Manchester City young talent Kelechi Iheanacho. And indeed, it seems they thankfully were acting on it without needing to read my advice to go after this Nigerian exciting prospect.
The Hammers have indeed made an offer to Man City on Sunday for the services of Iheanacho, as the 20-year-old has seen his chances at being the main forward at the Etihad for the next decade derailed with Pep Guardiola bringing in Gabriel Jesus to the club. And Man City’s loss could easily be West Ham’s gain, as the Hammers are in need of a young forward in the wake of injury riddle seasons once again for Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho.
There were rumors on Saturday that Iheanacho did agree to a deal with the London Stadium club. However, that was denied by his agent. Either way, the interest is growing in a major way from both sides.
