After a lack luster first season in East London Andre Ayew is being linked with a move back home.

Ghannasoccer.net is reporting that Marseilles are lining up a £30m bid for the winger/striker. It seems that Frank McCourt hopes to reunite the band for another run at glory. Marseilles have already swooped in for a certain treacherous Frenchman earlier this season.

While Ayew is certainly talented and has played better after recovering from injury £30m is a lot of cash. Making a £10m profit off of a very mediocre season would be a nice bit of business for the hammers. Making close to £30m off of Dimitri Payet and Ayew would be a nice payoff.
If a £30m bid does materialize the Davids should pull the trigger immediately. There are better wingers out there and West Ham already have plenty of workable solutions if they sell Ayew and don’t replace him immediately.
