It’s an intriguing midtable clash between West Ham United and Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent Saturday.
With both teams separated by just one point, a win for either side would certainly guarantee safety next season and potentially put them to ninth in the league table with three matches remaining in the season.
To close out April, the Hammers have gotten three straight positives results after a dire five match losing streak, and will lineup the same way they did last week in the scoreless draw against Everton.
With no Andy Carroll for another fixture, Slaven Bilic has left out captain Mark Noble in the starting lineup, as Havard Nordtveit gets another chance in his natural position after a fine performance last Saturday. James Collins remains in the side in a back three with fellow centerbacks Winston Reid and Jose Fonte. Sam Byram, Robert Snodgrass and Sofiane Feghouli are available.
For Stoke City, Mark Hughes side are almost completely healthy, with Jonathan Walters the only new injury concern.
Can the Hammers keep another clean sheet, or will Stoke find a way to cause them problems once more? Find out next!
