Hammers Abroad in November 2017 Live Thread

The final international break of 2017 is here

As Diafra Sakho scored the goal to sent Senegal back to a World Cup Finals for the first time since their only time in 2002, where they miraculously got all the way to the quarterfinals, this is the start of the final international break of 2018 for West Ham United players (and everybody else of course).

Along with Sakho and Cheikhou Kouyate playing for Senegal, here are the other Hammers abroad for this week’s crucial last slate of 2018 World Cup qualifiers, as well as friendlies.

Winston Reid is obviously at the heart of New Zealand massive playoff two-leg ties against Peru, in one of two “Do or Die” intercontinental playoffs.

Edimilson Fernandes did not play in Switzerland’s big 1-0 victory over Northern Ireland in the first leg of their major playoff battle in Belfast.

With their teams already assured of being in next summer’s final tournament, both Joe Hart and Javier Hernandez will get more caps for their nations to cap off a joyous international years for them. Chicharito’s Mexico will take on Belgium on Friday and Poland on Monday. Meanwhile, Hart’s England will face off against Germany on Friday and Brazil on Tuesday.
