Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez: “I’m very happy at West Ham”

Our star striker slams the door shut on a weekend of rumours, speculation and Twitter meltdowns.

He’s only just joined us, and already, he’s set to leave... Well, that appeared to be the case as posted on Twitter by a user of the Social Networking site over the weekend. However, after tagging Chicharito in the Tweet, it appeared that Hernandez had other things on his mind as he quickly fired back at the poster of the original tweet.

While the trend of getting the attention of footballers on Social Media isn’t new, there seems to be better ways of catching the eye of your favourite footballer. Unfortunately for this particular user, he doesn’t appear to have his facts right.

Chicharito replied back, remaining calm, but very classy

With all of this blowing up, it makes for interesting thinking as it once again reinforces the saying “watch what you post online” as you could be wrong. Whatever the case may be, it appears Chicharito remains happy at the Club, bringing us all a bit of comfort.

Chicharito has picked up 3 goals from 9 appearances in both the Premier League and the Carabao Cup competitions for West Ham United.
