It was once again a tale of two halves for West Ham United. The first half saw the Hammers go up 2-0 against Crystal Palace behind goals from Javier Hernandez and Andre Ayew. Crisp passing, good tackling, and some good goalkeeping from Joe Hart had the Hammers well in the drivers seat.
The second half however was back to the West Ham that we’ve all become used to seeing for the past year and a half. A lack of urgency, heart, and interest. They seemed to be on auto pilot much like Tottenham were Wednesday. Poor passing and bad tackles ran rampent for the Hammers in the second half.
Angelo Ogbonna had a mare of a half giving up a penalty and a dangerous free kick that Joe Hart made and excellent save on. Despite my dislike of the England keeper he put in a man of the match performance singlehandedly keeping the Hammers alive.
Yet it ends 2-2 and a point for each struggling team.
