Highly Rated Youngster Signs Pro Contract

Nathan Trott gets his first Professional deal

Academy Goalkeeper Nathan Trott has today signed his first Professional contract. The 18 year old put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at West Ham until 2020.

The contract bookends what has been a fantastic year for Trott. He joined the club in January, after impressing on trial in late 2015, signing a two and a half year deal. Since then he has continued to impress, making appearances for the club at every level from the u17s all the way through to the PL2 side. His showings earned him his first England call up in October for the u19 side.

After Adrian, Randolph and Raphael Spiegel, Nathan is competing with fellow academy product Sam Howes to be next in line. Despite being with the club for less time and the latter having senior experience from a pre-season tour under Allardyce and a loan to the famous Wealdstone FC, Trott is now considered to be very close (if not ahead) of Howes.

Congratulations Nathan!
