The London Evening Standard reports that Arsenal’s Carl Jenkinson will once again be shipped out on loan. While it appears that a number of clubs could be in for the England defender, he played his best football while in East London and with the absence of any fit right backs, his return could help West Ham immensely.

Jenkinson has been unable to crack the Arsenal starting eleven, even with first choice RB Hector Bellerin out due to injury. He has made a total of five appearances in all competition for the Gunners, with Wenger going with a centreback, Gabriel, at right back instead while Bellerin was out for a few games. Wenger commented that Jenkinson needs to find his confidence again, and his success at West Ham would leave many to conclude that it’s best for everyone if Jenkinson makes another loan move to the Hammers.
Rivals for Jenkinson’s services include Hull, Swansea, and Aston Villa. While Hull and Swansea are knee deep in a relegation dogfight, Aston Villa is closing in on the playoff spots in the Championship after struggling to start the season. A move across London to a team that he is familiar with would seem to a logical move for Jenkinson.
