\Let's be honest, Simone Zaza's time at West Ham hasn't exactly been stellar. From the moment the press began mentioning a move to the London Stadium, the skepticism of the Italian's ability to succeed in England's top flight has been strong. 11 appearances later and for the vast majority, nothing has changed.
Speculation has been rife surrounding the infamous penalty king's future and where it lies. There have been reports suggesting everything from West Ham trying to renegotiate the deal to him definitely going back to Juventus to several other European clubs chasing his signature. Speaking to JuveNews, his agent has now confirmed Simone is on his way back to Turin.
"Zaza will certainly come back to Juve, West Ham do not want to keep. [He] might as well stay at Juventus, as Juve might need another striker. Otherwise there are a couple of solutions."
It's a shame that Zaza's move didn't work out. His workrate on the pitch was never in doubt and the service he received was questionable but with the likes of Carroll, Ayew and Sakho beginning to return to full fitness, it's difficult to justify his place in the team.
