Welcome to Brace The Hammer

SB Nation presents its latest soccer achievement - a site dedicated solely to West Ham United. We also meet our new awesome managing editors!

Four points in seven Premier League games. Out of the Europa League before the group stage. Injuries galore. And currently in the relegation zone.

West Ham United fans from East London to all across the globe are in need of something to make them feel good about their team at the moment. So thankfully, SB Nation is giving all of us who support this tremendous club enamored with blowing bubbles a team website that will certainly be popping with glory.

Welcome to Brace The Hammer, an SB Nation team blog dedicated 110% to only West Ham United. After months of contemplation and evaluation, we are here to make this the premiere place for the latest news and analysis of this tremendous club.

From all the way back to when the club was founded in 1895 as Thames Ironworks to the now first season at London's sparkling Olympic Stadium, we will truly represent this sacred football institution and its history to the fullest with consistent, detailed content. Fan conversations, tactical analysis, transfer speculations and of course game day coverage will be the firm part of SB Nation's latest football team blog solely centered on West Ham.

We'll represent all Hammers fans by discovering all the answers to the current questions with our beloved club: After a terrific last season at Upton Park, can West Ham recover from such a dreadful start in this campaign? Is Slaven Bilic the right manager in the most adverse of situations? How long will Dimitri Payet remain a Hammer? Will the backline be able to overcome the litany of injury issues it has faced thus far? Will Andy Carroll ever have a West Ham career where he is fully fit? Which of the new singings will emerge as the new stars for the club? And most importantly, what new goal celebration dance will Michail Antonio think of next?

So thank you for reading the inaugural post of Brace The Hammers. We all hope this will be a destination that represents West Ham United to the fullest and becomes a must read not only for Hammers fans, but for all football fans across the globe.

And if West Ham's season turns around in the right direction, then you can thank us at Brace The Hammers for our launch being the reason why our club's fortunes turned in the proper direction.

Andrew Jones & Jonathan Liebling

Andrew Jones - Andrew Jones is a sports, political and music writer whose work has appeared on  The Intercept, The Guardian, Ebony Magazine, World Soccer Talk, MSNBC, The Grio and has been mentioned by Sports Illustrated and The Nation. He has also made media appearances at Huff Post Live and the RT Network. Andrew is also among the few to endure watching the then Metrostars play games at Giants Stadium with only 15 people in the crowd.

Jonathan Liebling - Jonathan Liebling joined SB Nation as a site manager for Twice a Cosmo covering the NY Cosmos. He discovered his love for soccer while living in Washington DC over 10 years ago. Legend has it a roommate forced him to frequent a run-down Irish pub in the backwaters of town. This Zagat forgotten establishment was littered with aging fans who would scream incoherent expletives at the television, while engulfing curry fries and downing Guinness after Guinness. Jonathan sat back and realized he was finally among family. With his background fictional screenwriting, he began to put a narrative to the global game and hasn't stopped since.
